Dusty and hot weather conditions are expected in the UAE on Tuesday with a chance of rain in some eastern and southern areas of the country.

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology warned that dust in the afternoon may lead to poor visibility in exposed areas.

Wind could kick up dust, leading to poor visibility.

The centre said that the weather will be dusty in general and hot to extremely hot across most areas of the country.

Partly cloudy conditions were also forecast at times in some areas with the opportunity for clouds to accumulate in the afternoon on the eastern regions.

Forecasters predict the temperature to reach a high of 46°C in Abu Dhabi and 44°C in Dubai.

Wind movement is expected to be southeasterly to northeasterly with speeds of 15-30 km/h during the morning and increasing to 36 km/h in exposed areas.

Moderate sea conditions are expected in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
