ABU DHABI // Motorists have been warned to expect strong winds causing dust storms and reduced visibility on Wednesday.

Winds reaching 40 kph led the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology to issue a country-wide warning about rain, winds, and rough sea conditions.

Temperatures along the coast are expected to reach a high of 36°C and a low of 19°C while internal areas will see highs of 40°C and lows of 18°C.

Forecasters are predicting the unstable weather to worsen over the coming days with wind speeds increasing to 55kph by Friday.

This will be accompanied by increases in cloud formation leading to the possibility of rain across the western region.
