ABU DHABI // Residents may get a spot of relief from the summer heat as slightly cooler temperatures are forecast today and tomorrow.

A “slight drop in temperatures” is being reported by National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology today, with a “significant drop in temperature” expected on Wednesday.

Coastal areas will see temperatures vary between 22°C and 43°C with temperatures between 19°C and 48°C expected inland.

Those living in mountainous regions of the country can expect cooler temperatures ranging between 21°C and 36°C.

Residents can expect cloudy, hazy and windy weather today and on Wednesday.

Humidity will increase overnight and early on Wednesday morning, peaking at 85 per cent inland and 95 per cent along the coast.

Waters will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
