DUBAI // Rainfall and cloudy conditions over the eastern and southern areas of the country are likely over the next two days, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology.
The weather will remain hot and hazy in most regions through Wednesday and Thursday.
Cloudy conditions may be associated with rainfall and moderate winds blowing dust and sand will cause poor visibility in some areas, the centre said.
Humidity is likely to increase at night and with mist and fog possible over some western areas early on Wednesday.
The sea could turn rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea closer to the weekend.
Temperatures could go up to 49°C in the interior regions, staying at 46°C along the coast and between 32 to 36°C in the mountains.
Humidity levels will touch 90 per cent in the coastal areas and 85 per cent in internal regions.
The lowest temperature in the country of 25.5°C was recorded in the Al Wathbah area early on Tuesday.
