ABU DHABI // Hazy conditions are expected today with forecasters warning against fresh winds picking up dust and reducing visibility.

Commuters passing through Jebel Ali are urged to drive with caution as the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology has noted a decrease in visibility in that area.

Temperatures will range between 29°C and 47°C along the coast with lows of 27°C and highs of 49°C expected inland. Accuweather predicts temperatures to feel like 50°C at their height in the capital.

A thunderstorm affected parts of the country on Sunday and Monday with heavy rain reported in Al Maliha in Sharjah and Masaken in Al Ain.

Hazy and hot weather is expected to continue throughout Tuesday with a lingering chance of rain in the afternoon, spurned on by cloud cover in the eastern and southern parts of the country.

Waters are expected to be rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
