Beachgoers have been warned to be extra careful on Wednesday because of rough seas.
Due to strong winds, seas will be rough in the Arabian Gulf, the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology said. The wind will also cause dust or sand to blow over internal areas, affecting visibility with a further drop in temperature.
The NCMS also said there will be light rains towards the north due to cloud formation.
Cooler temperatures were also expected, with lows of 6°C in internal areas, 8°C in mountainous areas and 13°C along the coast.
Wind speed in coastal areas were forecast to reach up to 50 kilometres per hour, in a northwest direction. It will be less windy in internal and mountainous areas, reaching up to 32kph and 35kph respectively.
Humidity levels will range from 75 to 90 per cent, the NCMS said, with partly cloudy and hazy weather predicted, particularly over coastal, island and internal areas.
