DUBAI // Multiple accidents led to congestion on internal roads this morning with police asking motorists to drive with caution on their daily commute.

Several separate collisions were reported on Umm Sequim Road (D63) towards Jumeirah causing delays.

Motorists heading to Abu Dhabi on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road experienced heavy delays when an accident stopped traffic entirely at 8am.

In the capital, an accident near Maqta’a Bridge caused delays to drivers taking the E30 and E22.

Commuters heading to Dubai from Sharjah and the Northern Emirates experienced massive tailbacks after an accident took place on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.

Dubai-bound motorists on the Dubai-Al Ain Road (E66) were delayed due to two separate accidents near Nad Al Sheba.

No injuries were reported.
