DUBAI // Ohood Al Roumi, the Minister of State for Happiness, has launched a series of seminars for government employees to teach them how to maintain a positive attitude.
The seminars aim to highlight the Government’s National Happiness and Positivity Programme and its goal of establishing a happy society.
Ms Al Roumi said the seminars were a crucial part in making the project work, said the state news agency Wam. She said they would explain happiness and positivity in the workplace and in life, and show how to measure happiness.
Ms Al Roumi said that Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, had stressed “that it is the Government’s job to instil positivity as a key trait in society”.
The inaugural seminar at the Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai was attended by 350 public sector employees.
