ABU DHABI // The Ministry of Interior will create a youth council to help identify challenges facing Emirati young people in the ministry.

Participants aged 20 to 30 will be selected for membership on the council, reported Wam, the state news agency.

The council is being launched under the directive of Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

The move is in line with the nationwide Emirates Youth Council, launched this year by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, to promote better communication with UAE youth, according to the ministry.
