The steakhouse is serving up a special iftar buffet that features classic Arabian cuisine as well as international flavours. Start with an array of hot and cold mezze to break your fast, followed by traditional Ramadan staples such as lamb ouzi, Emirati sausage and a mix of Middle Eastern salads. The buffet also features live shawarma and falafel stations. For desserts, try the Umm Ali, balah al sham, katayef fried cheese and a smattering of Arabic sweets. Dh139. Sunset to 9pm. Palermo and Barooda, Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club

Palermo offers panoramic views across the polo field during an iftar that includes beef, grills, seafood, a range of salads and an assortment of desserts. The restaurant’s speciality is a steak cooked exactly as you like, so don’t miss the meat. Or try the iftar buffet at Barooda Lounge. The lounge features an all-you-can-eat selection of Arabic cuisine, complete with a traditional oud player. This venue, too, offers views of the polo field.
