Pakistani singer Quratulain Balouch said that she was so inspired by the forthcoming Bollywood film, Pink, that she just had to sing on it. The film, starring Amitabh Bachchan, focuses on the issue of rape and the persecution of women. The song, which Balouch sings, is called Kaari Kaari and highlights how society vilifies women, especially when they show defiance against the usual norms and dare to speak up. “I have made my way out of a feudal system so giving the song my voice became almost mandatory,” said the singer. Third is Kendall Jenner, who more than doubled her earnings in 2016. The 20-year-old, who is Kim Kardashian’s half sister, increased her earnings from $4 million in 2015 to $10 million in 2016, in part due to partnerships with Estee Lauder and Calvin Klein, Forbes said.
