Catch a screening of the 2014 French film Two Days, One Night, as part of the A Hard Day’s Night film programme presented by Alserkal Avenue and Cinema Akil, which focuses on the notion of the workforce, manufacturing and industry. The film, directed by the Dardenne brothers, tells the story of Sandra (Marion Cotillard, pictured, who was nominated for a best actress Oscar), a factory worker, who returns to work after an absence and has one weekend to convince her 16 colleagues to give up their bonuses so she can keep her job.
