Catch a screening of the 2004 Iranian short film Handmade and the 2010 Iranian feature film Gesher, as part of the A Hard Day’s Night film programme presented by Alserkal Avenue and Cinema Akil, which focuses on the notion of workforce, manufacturing and industry. Handmade is about the craft of glass-blowing, while Gesher focuses on three men in pursuit of a better life despite difficult working and living conditions.
